Babys Jarro-Dophilus contains superior, scientifically documented strains. Clinical studies have documented the benefits of B. breve M-16V and B. longum BB536 (morinaga) in infants and young children. All probiotic strains in Babys Jarro-Dophilus produce L+ lactic acid which is especially ideal for babies. The dominant intestinal flora of infants are the bifidobacteria which is why Babys Jarro-Dophilus contains a higher percentage of bifidobacteria than lactobacilli.
